SECL Organises Two-Day Refresher Programme for OHS Medical Officers

Bilaspur, 9 October 2026: South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) organised a two-day Refresher Programme for OHS Medical Officers on 8–9 October 2026 at MDI, Bilaspur, under the guidance of Dr Shrutidev Mishra, CMS In-charge, SECL.

Day 1 featured lectures on occupational health by Dr Arihant Jain, SECL HQ, and Dr C. Pavan Kumar, Korba Area.

Day 2 focused on OHC Gap Analysis and medical examination provisions under the OSHWC Code, under the aegis of Dr Kaushik Sarkar, Senior Consultant, DGMS, Western Zone.

Area Medical Officers and Occupational Health Physicians from all areas of SECL participated in the programme to strengthen occupational health practices and promote effective implementation of applicable provisions.
