Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai called Sushri Sanju Devi, a member of the Indian women’s kabaddi team that won the gold medal at the Asian Games 2026 held in Japan and a resident of Korba district in Chhattisgarh, and congratulated her on the remarkable achievement. During a warm conversation with Sushri Sanju Devi, the Chief Minister praised her outstanding performance and said her achievement has made the entire state of Chhattisgarh proud.
Chief Minister Shri Sai told Sushri Sanju Devi that through her talent, hard work and outstanding performance, she has brought laurels not only to Chhattisgarh but to the entire country. The Indian women’s kabaddi team’s golden success on a prestigious international platform such as the Asian Games is a moment of pride for every citizen. The Chief Minister said the daughters of Chhattisgarh are today demonstrating their talent and capabilities in every field, including education and sports. Korba’s Sushri Sanju Devi earned a place in the national team through her hard work and sporting skills and has elevated the state’s prestige by representing the country at the international level. Sushri Sanju Devi of Chhattisgarh’s Korba district also played an important role in the Indian team’s golden success. Sushri Sanju Devi is a member of the Indian national women’s kabaddi team.
