Transforming Dantewada: Caste Certificates of schoolchildren issued under Mission Mode

Dantewada, 6 April 2023. Children in the Dantewada district who had to visit Patwari and Tehsil offices for caste certificates frequently have heaved a sigh of relief. Many families used to hesitate to get their caste certificates made because the process used to be time-consuming, and they had to pay frequent visits to hospitals. However, under the directions and guidance of the Collector Mr. Vinit Nandanwar, caste certificates are being issued on priority.  A target to issue hundred percent cast certificates in the district has been fixed, under which caste certificates for 20 thousand 261 schoolchildren had to be made. So far, 18 thousand 367 caste certificates have been distributed to students.

There was a time when getting caste certificates made used to seem like a difficult task for students and guardians. However, the efforts of the district administration have solved their problems.  Because of the caste certificate, students will be able to benefit from the important schemes of the government. For issuing caste certificates to students, the Collector Mr. Vinit Nandanwar had instructed the SDM and Tehsildars from time to time and also conducted reviews based on the applications he received himself.
