Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has extended heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on Chhattisgarh State Foundation Day, observed on 1 November. He said that the completion of 26 years since Chhattisgarh’s formation is an occasion of pride for everyone.
Fondly remembering former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna, revered Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that his visionary leadership and firm resolve had made the dream of Chhattisgarh statehood a reality. The formation of a separate state gave renewed recognition to the people’s hopes and aspirations and opened up new possibilities for development. He said that the state government is working with continued commitment to realise Atal Ji’s dream of a prosperous and developed Chhattisgarh.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that this year’s Rajyotsav is historic and special in many ways. It is the first Rajyotsav at which Chhattisgarh, free from Red Terror, is moving towards a new era of peace, trust and development. He said that this historic achievement has been made possible by the strong leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the firm resolve of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah and the sustained efforts of the double-engine government. The indomitable courage, valour and sacrifices of the security personnel have made an unforgettable contribution to this success, which the state will always remember with gratitude.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is committed to bringing prosperity to every village, providing every young person with better opportunities to progress and ensuring that the benefits of development reach the last person in society. With its rich cultural heritage, natural resources and the capabilities of its people, Chhattisgarh is moving towards new heights of development.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that State Foundation Day is an occasion to take pride in the state’s achievements and make fresh resolutions for a bright future. He called upon everyone to collectively resolve to build a prosperous, strong and developed Chhattisgarh by 2047 and actively contribute to realising this goal.
