Korba, September 17, 2025. Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (BALCO), a Vedanta Group company, observed Vishwakarma Jayanti with devotion and enthusiasm at its Korba plant on Wednesday. The occasion was marked by rituals, prayers and colourful celebrations across different units of the plant.
Idols of Lord Vishwakarma, revered as the divine architect and symbol of creation, were installed in offices and workshops. The company’s CEO, senior officials, employees and contract workers participated in the worship ceremonies, seeking blessings for safety, prosperity and progress. Prasad was distributed after the rituals.
Vishwakarma Jayanti holds a special place in BALCO’s culture, company officials said. It is not merely a religious observance but also a reminder of the values of innovation, responsibility and safe work practices that guide the company.
