Khairagarh: ‘Helping Divyangjan’: Manoj and Devlal received tricycle and Sundarlal got hearing aid

Khairagarh: 24 April 2023. Dr. Jagdish Sonkar, Collector of the newly formed district Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, distributed assistive devices to the differently-abled (Divyangjan). Soon after the formation of the district, Collector Sonkar commenced the drive to provide best possible facilities for the disabled. In the same sequence, District Collector has provided tricycles to two disabled beneficiaries and hearing aids to one, at the district office premises.

  District Collector has directed the officials of the Social Welfare Department to provide assistive devices to the eligible Divyangjans of the district at the earliest. Assistant Director of Social Welfare Department, Mr. Ganesh Ram said that two Divyangs including  41-year-old Manoj Kumar Joshi, son of Kriparam Joshi, resident of village Damari, Khairagarh and 42-year-old Devlal Verma, son of Mohanlal Verma, resident Katangikhurd, Khairagarh were provided tricycles at hands of the Collector at the district office premise. On the occasion, 77-year-old hearing impaired Divyang Sunderlal Verma’s father Kanhaiya, resident of Saliha village of Khairagarh, was provided with a hearing aid.

Beneficiaries were happy and grateful to have received the tricycles and the hearing aid from the hands of the Collector. It is noteworthy that Divyangjans of the district are being provided assistive devices as per their requirements. The beneficiaries thanked District Administration and Social Welfare Department for the support. Meanwhile, Assistant Director of Social Welfare Department Mr. Ganesh Ram, along with the employees of the administration and relatives of the beneficiary Divyangjan were also present.
