TOLIC Korba receives NARAKAS Protsahan Samman in ‘Prashansaniya’ category
KORBA, SEPTEMBER 19: The Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC), Korba, has been conferred the ‘NARAKAS Protsahan Samman’ in the ‘Prashansaniya’ category at the All-India level by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, in recognition of its efforts towards the promotion and progressive use of Hindi in official work.
TOLIC Korba functions under the chairmanship of Kishore Chandra Patra, Executive Director, NTPC Korba. The award acknowledges the initiatives undertaken by the committee to promote the use of Hindi and strengthen its implementation across the offices associated with TOLIC Korba.
The prestigious award was presented by Anshuli Arya, Secretary, Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, during the All India Official Language Conference held in Navi Mumbai on September 15.
Vijay Kumar Garg, General Manager (Chemistry), NTPC Korba, received the award on behalf of TOLIC Korba.
The recognition reflects the collective efforts and active participation of the offices associated with TOLIC Korba in promoting the effective implementation and progressive use of Hindi in official activities. The honour is expected to further encourage the participating offices to intensify their efforts towards the wider use and promotion of Hindi in official work.
