Navratri celebrated with fervour at DAV Mukhyamantri Public School, Kharmora

Korba, Sept 27 – DAV Mukhyamantri Public School, Kharmora, resonated with colours of festivity as the institution celebrated the auspicious occasion of Navratri with a series of cultural presentations that reflected tradition and community spirit.

The celebrations, organised on the school campus, featured spirited Garba dance performances, thoughtful speeches and a lively fancy dress competition. The participation of students, staff and parents lent vibrancy to the event.

The programme was graced by Mrs Manju Tiwari, Principal of SAGE School, Dadar, and nodal officer of DAV, who attended as chief guest. In her address, she lauded the efforts of the school in fostering academic as well as cultural enrichment among students.

“Navratri symbolises the victory of good over evil and the strength of devotion. Our students have aptly captured this essence through their performances,” remarked Principal Mr Hemanto Mukherjee. He further observed that such events are instrumental in nurturing values and a sense of togetherness among young learners.

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Aarti Pandey, who expressed gratitude to the chief guest, principal, teachers, staff, parents and students for their contribution towards making the celebration a grand success.
