Korba, August 23
The Ved Prachar Saptah (Vedic Promotion Week) organized by the DAV Management Committee at DAV Mukhya Mantri Public School concluded on a grand note with a hawan ceremony today. The week-long event, which commenced on August 19, witnessed enthusiastic participation from both teachers and students.

Throughout the week, a series of programs were held to promote Vedic knowledge and values, including Vedic chants, quizzes, speeches, poems, biographies, slogans, Vedic plays, and group recitations of the Gayatri and Mahamrityunjay mantras. The primary objective of the event was to introduce students to the Vedas and impart the intellectual and moral principles of Arya Samaj, enabling them to apply these values in their daily lives.
Students were also educated about the life and social reform work of Swami Dayanand Saraswati, the founder of Arya Samaj. The hawan ceremony was a key highlight of the event, with Principal Hemanto Mukherjee, along with all teachers and students, offering oblations to the sacred fire.
Principal Mukherjee expressed his gratitude to everyone for their efforts in making the event a success and wished them a bright future. The Ved Prachar Saptah was a resounding success, and the school hopes to continue promoting Vedic values and knowledge among its students in the years to come.
