Korba. A profound sense of national duty and artistic brilliance marked the 77th Republic Day celebrations at DAV Mukhyamantri Public School, Kharmora. The event was a spectacular showcase of talent, featuring students from LKG to Class 12th, but the undeniable highlight of the morning was a gripping theatrical performance titled “Operation Sindoor.”
The performance, which depicted the valor and sacrifices of our armed forces, left the audience in tears and received a standing ovation. It served as a poignant reminder of the price paid for the nation’s sovereignty.
Addressing the assembly, Principal Mr. Hemanto Mukherjee delivered a hard-hitting and visionary speech. He observed a critical gap in modern civic discourse, stating, “In today’s world, everyone is vocal about their Rights, but unfortunately, no one is talking about their Responsibilities. “He challenged the students to balance their ambitions with their duties toward the nation, urging them to be responsible citizens first.
The program reached its finale with a formal Vote of Thanks by Mr. Mukherjee, who concluded the day proceedings with a gracious Vote of Thanks, expressing deep gratitude to the teachers and parents for nurturing the next generation of Indian leaders. The event concluded with the resonant echoes of “Jai Hind,” leaving a lasting impact on every heart present & this followed by sweet distribution.
