Aakarshi Kashyap Wins Bronze at the Czech Open International Challenge TournamentSupported by NTPC Korba

Korba, 23 October 2025: Indian badminton star Aakarshi Kashyap, supported by NTPC Korba, has brought glory to the nation by winning the Bronze Medal at the Czech Open International Challenge Tournament.

Aakarshi showcased remarkable skill and resilience throughout the competition, culminating in a thrilling semifinal clash against a player from Denmark. The intense match concluded with scores of 20-22, 21-13, 13-21, reflecting the closely fought nature of the contest.

Speaking about her achievement, Aakarshi said, “The tournament has been an excellent learning experience and has given me great international exposure. Each match has helped me gain confidence and prepare better for upcoming challenges.”

Following her commendable performance, Aakarshi will remain in the Czech Republic for a week of training with the National Team, before heading to Germany to participate in the Hylo Super 500 Tournament.
