Chhattisgarh is the only state in the country getting back the money of duped chit fund investors: Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel

Raipur 6 February 2023. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel on Monday returned an amount of Rs 2.56 crore to 3, 274 duped chit-fund investors of Durg district, in a virtual programme organized at his residence office here. Addressing the programme, Chief Minister said “an amount of about Rs 40 crore has been returned so far to the investors duped by chit-fund companies. The state government is taking strict action against the chit-fund companies in Chhattisgarh. The money is being returned to the investors by seizing the properties of fraudulent chit-fund companies. Chit fund companies in Chhattisgarh have been duping innocent people of large sums of money.  The state government making its best efforts to ensure that these investors get their money back. Chhattisgarh is the only state in the country which is giving back their money to these investors.”
