Adding one more feather to its cap, NTPC Lara station has been conferred with coveted Safety
innovation Award 2022 in 19 th Safety Convention held at Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi on the other
day. The Award, institutionalized for excellence in workplace safety systems in industry, with focused
on innovative safety practices within system that leads to systematic improvement in organization
performance.
At NTPC, Industrial Safety has been giving first priority among all. Employees and associates are
encouraged to adapt new initiatives and practices so that everybody will be aware about safety aspect
of each work. As a result of this no such reportable accidents happened at workplace. As a
recognition to its best safety practices this reward was conferred to NTPC Lara. Shri A K Vashisht,
AGM (Safety) received the award from jury members. For this recognition Shri Diwakar Kaushik, Chief General Manager and Shri Akhilesh Singh, GM (O&M) congratulate all employees for this acknowledgement.
