5,018 Participants Register on First Day of State-Level Employment Fair

Over 2,000 Candidates Selected in Preliminary Selection Process Conducted by 85 Institutions

Raipur, October 7, 2026/
The State-Level Employment Fair was organised at the Indoor Stadium in Raipur to provide better employment opportunities for Chhattisgarh’s youth. The fair received an enthusiastic response on its first day. A total of 5,018 participants registered. More than 2,000 candidates were selected in the preliminary selection process conducted by 85 private institutions. Many job-seeking youth from different districts of Chhattisgarh participated in the fair.
Selection Based on Skills and Qualifications
The preliminary selection process for vacancies in various private-sector institutions and establishments was based on candidates’ educational qualifications, skills, and experience. Youth actively participated in interviews and other selection processes based on their areas of interest.
The employment fair has made an effective effort to bring employers and job-seeking youth together on a single platform, providing young people with a direct opportunity to participate in the selection process.
Appointment Letters to be Presented on Second Day
On the second day of the employment fair, October 8, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Legislative Assembly Speaker Dr Raman Singh, and Skill Development and Employment Minister Shri Guru Khushwant Saheb will hand over appointment letters to the selected candidates. The appointment letters will open a new, promising path to employment for the selected youth.
