SECL Director (Finance) Represents CIL at Samajikam CSR Conclave by Rotary International

SECL Director (Finance) Shri D. Sunil Kumar represented Coal India Limited (CIL) at the Samajikam CSR Conclave organized by Rotary Clubs of District 3020 on 07 September 2025 in Vijayawada. The conclave brought together Rotary’s corporate CSR partners, Rotarians, and changemakers to deliberate on impactful social initiatives and explore avenues for collaboration.

The event featured keynote sessions, interactive panels, and showcases of real-life CSR interventions, providing a platform for dialogue, networking, and building partnerships between corporates and Rotary for sustainable community development.

Delivering the keynote address, Shri Kumar highlighted the pivotal role of Coal India and its subsidiaries in balancing the nation’s growing energy needs with their social responsibility commitments.

He underscored that CIL has been implementing wide-ranging CSR initiatives across coalfields, including healthcare, education, skill development, women empowerment, and environmental sustainability.

Shri Kumar also commended the CSR partnership between Rotary International and Coal India, expressing confidence that such collaborations will further strengthen the synergy between corporates and civil society for inclusive growth.
